Medical Receptionist

Description:

The receptionist will greet all patients entering the lobby. Will verify ID and walk them to their room. Will do various administrative tasks including emailing/calling law offices and insurance companies. ExamWorks does independent Medical Exams, so no insurance is necessary. For example, if someone needed to see a physical for a legal case for workman's comp, they would have the physical done there. The doctors don't treat anything, just complete exams/medical evaluations.

Hours:

Will be 20-25 hours/week. Mondays and Tuesdays will be closer to 8 hour days, and the rest of the week will have shortened hours. Their business is slower right now, but ramps up in Q3-4. Could work FT hours later on if able to. Rotating Saturdays, could work up to two Saturdays a month. Would only be able 3 hours on Saturdays.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Wants someone who is proficient in word, professional etiquette. Attention to detail. Sending emails to doc offices, law firms, so needs to have strong written communication .
