Purchasing Assistant

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Purchasing Assistant to join our team at Texas Tree Farms, LLC. The Purchasing Assistant will play a crucial role in supporting the purchasing of supplies to assist with tree installation, irrigation installation, and landscaping. The Purchasing Assistant will also maintain up to date inventory levels and ensuring timely delivery of goods and services. If you have strong analytical skills and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, we would love to hear from you. This is a full-time position, 40 hours/week. Tuesday- Saturday , 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with the procurement process, including sourcing suppliers, obtaining quotes, and negotiating prices
• Create purchase orders and ensure accuracy of order details
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and inventory
• Assist in evaluating supplier performance and maintaining positive relationships with vendors
• Support the purchasing team in various administrative tasks as needed
• Going to biddings for tree services

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a purchasing
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Proficient in using inventory systems such as QuickBooks, Excel, Microsoft, Square., etc.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Ability to create a schedule for deliveries and jobs
• Bilingual is a plus
