Job Description
Essential Duties:
- Purchasing material for stock and special orders
- Creating purchase orders and assigning them to customer tickets
- Handling returns and processing claims with vendors.
- Managing freight/shipping claims, shipments, and vendor accounts
- Working rapidly in a challenging, fast-paced environment.
- General Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable functions
- Using internal and external resources to solve problems.
- Running reports in our internal accounting system, exporting and formatting into an easy to analyze view for the CEO.
- Creating value for the company by finding ways to cut costs.
- Establishing new vendor relationships while maintaining current vendor base
- Calling vendors for pricing and product availability
- Consistently analyzing and tracking sales and inventory levels
- Creating labels for products and private labeling deck boards (product displays).
- Communicate weekly with multiple departments regarding changes in inventory (new products, discards, new clearances, etc.)
- Developing good working knowledge of products, placement, and inventory control techniques
- Managing invoice processing and distribution
- Negotiating price and delivery, finding innovative ways to save money wherever and whenever.
- Completing special projects with minimal supervision
- Decision making on approving orders.

- Any Experience in Flooring, Cabinets and or Countertops a plus
- MS Access experience a plus
- Work well with management, sales, support, and warehouse staff
- Works efficiently and effectively with limited supervision
- Ability to think creatively. (Out of the Box Thinking).
Experience and Training:
· Previous Purchasing Experience – Required. 4 Years or more a plus.
· Education - High School Diploma – Required; Bachler Degree - Preferred.
· Experience with Retail Products and Builder Supplies a plus.
· Work Location – In Duncanville Corporate office. Not Remote.
