Purchasing/ Warehouse Assistant

Job Description:

Summary

· Product sourcing and handling.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities (Other duties may be assigned)

· Performs other routine duties as assigned.

· Stock handling and maintenance of parts inventories,

· Sourcing of parts, tooling & supplies,

· Follow up with customers and suppliers relating to ordering, quality and pricing,

· Compiles and records production data from such documents as customer orders, work tickets, product specifications, and individual worker production sheets.

· Data entry of inventory transactions, receiving stock to warehouse locations, warehouse scrap, inventory location transfers.

· Work with Production Manager to schedule manufacturing orders

· Send inventory transaction reports to appropriate individual(s).

· Work with production department to improve variances and efficiencies.

· Supplemental keying for various supervisors

· Train other employees as needed.

· This job has no supervisory responsibilities.

Education and/or Experience

· High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $18.00 per hour
