The Role
UMBC Training Centers is seeking to hire a temp to hire Program Coordinator to support their Professional Development programs. This individual will be responsible for providing a superior experience to all UMBC Training Center clients and stakeholders, both internal and external. The primary job responsibility will be to ensure scheduled classes are effectively executed by overseeing and handling all logistics (ordering and distributing course materials; confirming logistics with instructors and students; ensuring proper classroom set-up including catering when needed; providing for special needs of instructors and students; preparing and distributing instructor evaluations and certificates of completion) and providing administrative support for Professional Development team as a whole.

Job Duties
· Ability to work on multiple priorities concurrently without missing any details.
· Works with the Professional Development team to identify course materials, ensure materials are up to date, relevant, and the quality that clients expect of UMBC Training Centers
· Manage all communications with clients for planned programs, and opportunities.
· Assist with student request emails (help desk) to the job description
· Ensure courses are effectively executed by overseeing and handling all logistics.
· Ensure weekly reporting deadlines are met for key clients.
· Documentation of all processes within appropriate software applications.
· Ability to successfully work remotely, travel to client sites as needed and succeed in an open office environment when necessary.
Requirements:
· At least two years of customer service experience
· Passionate about education and customer experience
· Ability to handle periods of high customer engagement and reprioritize tasks accordingly
· Proactive problem solving/solution-oriented thinking
· Passionate, hardworking, and well organized with the ability to prioritize many ongoing tasks
· Ability to self-manage, self-motivate, problem solve, and meet deadlines
· Proficiency with office/productivity applications – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Slack
· Communicate with candor and transparency
· Regular, recurring operational preparedness meeting is required
· Appropriate work from home environment including reliable internet
· Comfort using technology, especially the Microsoft Office suite
· Valid Driver’s License and/or reliable transportation
· US Citizenship is required
Hours
This is a part-time temporary to hire position. Monday* 7:30am – 4:30pm is required, other workdays are as-needed and flexible.
*If a holiday falls on a Monday, Tuesday becomes the required day.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 30 per week
