About the position:
What You Will Do:
In collaboration with clinical and administrative leadership, the RN Magnet Program Coordinator assumes responsibility for coordinating aspects of the American Nurses Credentialing Center Magnet review and re-designation process. Displays Magnet program expertise in all standards and requirements for Magnet Designation, set forth by ANCC. Responsible for coordinating Magnet related projects and initiatives and serves as a consultant to other nursing and hospital departments. Leads and coordinates unit ambassadors. Promotes nursing excellence, recognition, empowerment through shared governance, and professional development of nurses. Plans, implements, and/or evaluates defined programs and projects.

Minimum Qualifications:
- Master of Science in Nursing from an accredited school of nursing, or matriculated in an MSN programrequired.
- Five years of active/recent clinical nursing experience.
- Current registered nurse licensure in the state of Maryland.
- Previous Program Coordinator/project management experience preferred.
- Ability to communicate effectively in an interdisciplinary setting in order to facilitate problem solving and establish productive working relationships.
