POSITION SUMMARY:
The primary function of this position is the overall management of the BTC products and services portfolio with a secondary function to include the creation and management of new, enhanced and/or ancillary products and services. This Leader will manage the relationships with various stakeholders and service providers and direct the technical and operational resources to bring new products to market, manage the Product Development lifecycle and develop a balanced product portfolio.
I. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Responsible for developing all aspects of the product or service from cradle to grave.
- Define, develop, coordinate and drive the product integration and go-to-market strategy for Voice and Data related products to include the creation of new product codes within the billing system.
- Responsible for developing and implementing the specific Voice or Data product and services sales and support documentation, costing and pricing models.
- Conduct Product awareness and training throughout Direct and Indirect Sales channels.
- Responsible for product definition, market needs analysis, viability and product fit.
- Responsible for all new product plans, announcements, launches and withdrawals, and coordinates the process of commercializing all new or enhanced products with the Marketing Communications Team.
- Understand the Customer requirements and ensure alignment with Company initiatives and enablement of current Marketing strategies.
- Work with internal and external customers to identify issues which can be used as a use case for any product Portfolio.
- Keep abreast of all regulatory, technology and market requirements in the Product arena.
- Drive and manage partner and vendor relationships. Represent the company at partner events.
- Conduct research through competitor analysis, telecommunication analysts' reports or suppliers/partners to identify potential innovative products that complement existing product Portfolio.

Required Education and Experience:
- B.S. or significant experience in a technology related field.
- Three years of telecom and/or IT and IP networking related work experience.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and office machines.
- Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Education and Experience:
- B.S. in business related field.
- Three years' experience in sales engineering and/or product development.

- Seeing - Must be able to see well enough to read service orders and trouble reports: 75-100%
- Hearing - Must be able to hear well enough to communicate with employees and business contacts: 75-100%
- Standing/Walking - Must be able to move about the work site: 25-49%
- Climbing/Stooping/Kneeling - Must be able to climb, stoop, kneel and crawl to perform installations: 0-24%
- Lifting/Pulling/Pushing - Must be able to lift at least 75 lbs.: 0-24%
- Fingering/Grasping/Feeling - Must be able to write, type, and use phone system: 75-100%
