The Office of the County Counsel invites applicants for Principal Assistant County Counsel to direct the activities of the the General Advisory or Litigation Unit within the department. The Principal Assistant advises County Counsel on policy, procedures and programs; oversees professional, supervisory and support staff; and participates in personnel matters. Additionally, the position will handle and oversee complex legal and litigation work and provide legal advice and representation to county departments, special districts, and government officials.

Minimum Requirements
Experience:
Three (3) years of experience as Deputy County Counsel IV or higher with San Bernardino County, of which 12 months must be as a Supervising Deputy County Counsel or Deputy County Counsel V.
--AND--
License:
Must be an active member in good standing with the State Bar of California.
