THE ROLE:
AMD is seeking a Senior Corporate Counsel to join its legal team. The successful candidate will primarily support AMD’s Indirect Procurement Group. You will report to the Senior Director of the Legal Procurement team and work as part of a larger corporate team, including Indirect Procurement, IT, Finance, Marketing, Benefits/HR, Accounting, and other groups, to support their commercial transactions and related legal needs.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will have responsibility for handling a variety of commercial matters and must possess strong commercial contract negotiation and drafting skills related to the following types of agreements:
- General Services and Statements of Work (SOWs)
- Enterprise Licensing
- Software Licensing (e.g., SAAS and on prem) and related Maintenance and Service Level Agreements
- Infrastructure as a Service
- Professional Services
- Data Processing
- Marketing and Sponsorship
- HR and Benefits
- Logistics and Warehousing
- Hotel Reservations and Event Participation
- Facilities Leasing and Maintenance
You will also:
- Work closely with other AMD’s lawyers and paralegals.
- Collaborate with and manage outside counsel and resources effectively for specific engagements in accordance with budget.
- Provide training to AMD’s employees and AMD Procurement Team on Contracts, Privacy, Careful Communication and Compliance.
- Develop and update procurement agreements templates and related playbooks.
- You will need to hold a valid passport, as occasionally you may need to travel internationally.
