We are seeking a Payroll & Benefits Specialist to join our Payroll & Benefits team.
Summary
The Payroll and Benefits Specialist is responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing for employees. The ideal candidate for this position is passionate about payroll processing and compliance and helping people.
Qualifications
1. At least 3 years of experience is required.
2. Must be able to navigate in various software and databases at an intermediate to advanced level.
3. Must be able to read and interpret documents such as employee handbooks, software vendor materials, federal and state regulations.
4. Must be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
5. Must be able to calculate figures and amounts such as hours, earnings, deductions, taxes, etc.
Education
A four-year degree in Business, Finance, or Human Resources is preferred.
Pay & Benefits
Pay is commensurate with experience. A range of $50,000 to $75,000 with bonus opportunities.
Benefits include medical, dental, vision, generous 401k, and a company-funded HSA.
Work Environment
In-Office, Columbia, MO with potential for Hybrid.
