The Director, Payroll Operations is responsible for providing Payroll and Time Reporting support to a global enterprise of over 8K management and union employees.
Here’s what you’ll do:
- Oversee the methods and procedures for process implementation, operational improvements, and exceptional client services throughout the enterprise.
- Direct and assist in the development and maintenance of payroll and time reporting methods and procedures.
- Ensure the methods and procedures that are developed conform to legal, contractual, user, and company requirements.
- Advise and confer highly complex consultation to clients throughout the enterprise in researching and resolving problems regarding pay, time reporting, and matters affecting employee records while ensuring policies and administrative procedures are consistently administered.

- Exercise judgment within broadly defined practices and policies in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criterion for obtaining results.
- Work leadership provided by partnering with others in and out of the organization and resolving problems.
What you'll need to be successful:
- Typically a bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
- Typically requires 5 - 7 years of relevant experience.
- Experience using Infor/Workbrain Time Reporting system.
- Experience using Workday Payroll system.
- Knowledge of US, Puerto Rico, and Canada Payroll regulations.

The Base Salary range displayed below reflects the minimum and maximum target salary for each of DIRECTV's 4 (four) US Labor Market Zones. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
DIRECTV WAGE ZONES: $116,375 - $211,255
Low (N1): $116,375 - $174,515
Mid (N2): $122,500 - $183,700
High (N3): $134,750 - $202,070
Top (N4): $140,875 - $211,255
