Human Resources Coordinator

The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in the front desk operations by welcoming guests into the Human Resource office along with assisting internal team members with questions or concerns they may have on a day to day basis. This role provides administrative support including record-keeping, file maintenance, benefits, events, recognition, housing, on-boarding new hires and HRIS entry. Monday through Friday work week.

The successful candidate will be passionate about the little details and have a desire to learn and grow in HR. We are a fast paced office.

Essential Functions:

• Assist with creating and maintaining filing systems including new hire paperwork.
• Completing all necessary steps for new hires.
• Completes I-9 forms, verifies I-9 documentation and maintains I-9 files.
• Answer incoming phone calls and taking messages.
• Performs customer service functions by answering team member requests and questions.
• Play a part in maintaining the office space for cleanliness and keeping forms stocked and up to date.
• Helps HR team with recognition programs and events throughout the year.
• Inventory and purchase of necessary office supplies.
• Auditing of team member files.
• Assists with recruitment and interview process. Tracks status of candidates in HRIS.
• Makes photocopies; mails, scans and emails documents; and performs other clerical functions.
• Files documents into appropriate team member files.
• Processes mail.
• Potential to help with housing tasks, such as assignments, inventory, invoices, rent payments, etc.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.
