Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Payroll Coordinator to join our team. As a Payroll Coordinator, you will be responsible for accurately processing payroll and ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations. This is a vital role within our organization, as you will play a key part in maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring employees are paid correctly and on time.
Responsibilities:
- Process payroll for employees on a regular basis, ensuring accuracy and timeliness
- Collect and verify timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant data
- Prepare and distribute paychecks or direct deposits to employees
- Maintain payroll records and documentation in an organized manner
- Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
- Assist with the preparation of payroll reports & general ledger for management or regulatory purposes
- Assist with accounts payable tasks as needed
Experience:
- High School Degree or equivalent required
-Proven experience as a Payroll Clerk or similar role
- Good written and communication skills required
- Fluency in Spanish preferred
-Must have strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and calculations
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Experience with corporate accounting or accounts payable is a plus
