Duties
- Administer employee benefits programs, including medical, dental, vision, and retirement plans
- Coordinate open enrollment processes and communicate benefit options to employees
- Process benefit enrollments, changes, and terminations in HRIS systems
- Ensure compliance with all applicable federal and state regulations regarding employee benefits
- Collaborate with insurance brokers and vendors to resolve benefit-related issues and inquiries
- Assist with the development and implementation of employee wellness programs
- Conduct employee benefit orientations and provide guidance on available benefits
- Prepare and distribute benefit communication materials to employees
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Benefits Coordinator or similar administrative role
- Proficiency in HRIS systems
- Reporting and analysis experience, must be extremely thorough and detail oriented
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Experience with Sage software is a plus
As a Benefits Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in managing our employee benefits programs. You will be responsible for administering various benefits plans, ensuring compliance with regulations, assiting with payroll processing and month-end billing reconciliation and providing support to employees regarding their benefits. Your attention to detail and strong organizational skills will be essential in maintaining accurate records and effectively communicating benefit options. Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.00 per week
