Introduction
Are you looking for a part-time opportunity and have an HR background? We are looking for an HR Administrative Assistant to help on a part-time basis from September through November and assist with the annual open enrollment period. Please see positions details below:
- This is a temporary position beginning on 9/8 and will go through November 30.
- The hours would be approximately 3 days/week, for 4 hours a day, between the hours of 9am - 4pm. The hourly commitment would be approximately 12 - 15 hours per week.
- The pay for the position would be $20/hr and would be paid weekly!
- We are looking for someone with strong administrative and organizational skills, with a strong preference for those with an HR background.

How you'll make an impact
- Prepare standardized benefit information packets, including letters for employees that terminate employment with the District.
- Track and report annual listing of retired employees by job category for various departments.
- Process all necessary paperwork for resignations.
- Input information of employees who separate from the district into 3rdparty COBRA administrator's system.
- Complete all Premium Assistance applications for PSERS.
- Complete Medicare verification forms for retirees
- Complete PSERS Job Description forms
- Completion of forms received from Family Division
- Terminate coverage for Employees in E-Benefits online system
- Filing
- Other duties as assigned by Supervisor
About you
- High school diploma and 2 years related experience required.
- Strong administrative and organizational skills.
- HR experience highly preferred
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows applications and Microsoft Office.
