Part-Time Bookkeeper

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining financial records, performing account reconciliations, and assisting with budgeting and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in corporate accounting, possess excellent attention to detail, and be proficient in various accounting software programs such as QuickBooks and Sage.

Responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, maintaining general ledgers, and preparing financial statements
- Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts
- Prepare and process invoices, receipts, and payments
- Conduct account analysis to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Collaborate with internal teams to gather financial data for reporting purposes
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive financial information
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and changes in accounting regulations

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of corporate accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Sage
- Familiarity with double-entry bookkeeping
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to analyze financial data and prepare reports
- Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in 10-key typing for data entry purposes
- Knowledge of governmental accounting is a plus

Pay: $23.52 - $26.05 per hour
