Immediate need for full charge bookkeeper at a small company in La Mirada.
Essential Responsibilities / Financial Duties:
- Issue invoices to and collect payments from customers.
- Reconcile all revenues with the general ledger.
- Remit payroll taxes, income taxes, sales taxes and use taxes.
- Reconciles payment transactions (credit cards, checks, ACH, etc.)
- Reconcile bank statements
- Completes journal entries as needed
- Email customers invoices and statements.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
- Generating reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Commissions.
- Preparing sales tax reports and appropriate filings
- Working closely with our existing CPA
Essential Skills and Qualifications:
- 1-3 years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial analysis, or related field
- Good Computer skills: Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Navision) or other comparable enterprise software like Peachtree, Quickbooks, etc.
- 10 Key by touch
- Strong written and verbal communication
- Desire to work as a member of a team
- Ability to meet established deadlines
- Good longevity in current and past positions
Schedule:
- Flexible
- Up to 20-hours a week.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
