Bookkeeper

Immediate need for full charge bookkeeper at a small company in La Mirada.

Essential Responsibilities / Financial Duties:

• Issue invoices to and collect payments from customers.
• Reconcile all revenues with the general ledger.
• Remit payroll taxes, income taxes, sales taxes and use taxes.
• Reconciles payment transactions (credit cards, checks, ACH, etc.)
• Reconcile bank statements
• Completes journal entries as needed
• Email customers invoices and statements.
• Prepare monthly and quarterly reports.
• Generating reports including P&L, Balance Sheet, and Commissions.
• Preparing sales tax reports and appropriate filings
• Working closely with our existing CPA

Essential Skills and Qualifications:

• 1-3 years’ experience in accounting, bookkeeping, financial analysis, or related field
• Good Computer skills: Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Dynamics 365 Business Central (formerly Navision) or other comparable enterprise software like Peachtree, Quickbooks, etc.
• 10 Key by touch
• Strong written and verbal communication
• Desire to work as a member of a team
• Ability to meet established deadlines
• Good longevity in current and past positions

Schedule:

• Flexible
• Up to 20-hours a week.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
