POSITION OVERVIEW – Part-Time Bookkeeper
The Bookkeeper will play a crucial role in maintaining accurate financial records for our team. You’ll collaborate closely with the Manager of Creative Production and others to help track expenses, manage budgets, and ensure compliance with financial standards.
Our creative production team is a dynamic and innovative group that brings artistic vision to life. We work on various projects across different media, including video, advertising, events, and digital content. As we continue to grow, we’re seeking a skilled Bookkeeper to join our team part-time (10-15 hours a week) and ensure our financial processes run smoothly.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Financial Record Keeping:
- Document financial transactions related to our projects and programs.
- Verify that transactions are accurately recorded in the appropriate ledgers.
- Bring the books to the trial balance stage.
Budget Management:
- Monitor and track expenses across multiple budgets.
- Ensure adherence to budgetary guidelines.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and summaries to support informed decision-making.
- Assist in budget preparation and provide insights based on financial data.
Collaboration:
- Work with staff accountants as needed to reconcile accounts and address financial discrepancies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven bookkeeping experience.
- Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping principles.
- Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Data entry skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in spreadsheets and accounting software (e.g., Excel, PowerBI, SMART).
- Excellent communication skills.
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration preferred.
