Job Title: Bookkeeper

Position Overview:
As a Bookkeeper at LiveHappy, LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the financial health of the company.

Key Responsibilities:

• Accounts Payable and Receivable:
• Process and record invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
• Manage customer invoicing, receipts, and collections.
• Bank Reconciliation:
• Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
• General Ledger Maintenance:
• Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate financial data.
• Record and reconcile all financial transactions.
• Financial Reporting:
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
• Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.
• Payroll Processing:
• Process payroll accurately and on time.
• Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements.
• Expense Tracking:
• Monitor and track company expenses.
• Reconcile employee expense reports.
• Compliance:
• Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and ensure compliance.
• Assist in preparing documents for audits.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills.

Education and Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) a plus.
• 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or related roles.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
