Job Title: Bookkeeper

Position Overview:
As a Bookkeeper at LiveHappy, LLC, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial transactions. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of bookkeeping principles, excellent organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining the financial health of the company.
Key Responsibilities:
- Accounts Payable and Receivable:
- Process and record invoices, ensuring timely and accurate payments.
- Manage customer invoicing, receipts, and collections.
- Bank Reconciliation:
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations to ensure accurate financial reporting.
- Investigate and resolve any discrepancies in a timely manner.
- General Ledger Maintenance:
- Maintain and update the general ledger with accurate financial data.
- Record and reconcile all financial transactions.
- Financial Reporting:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports.
- Generate and analyze financial reports to support decision-making.
- Payroll Processing:
- Process payroll accurately and on time.
- Ensure compliance with relevant tax regulations and reporting requirements.
- Expense Tracking:
- Monitor and track company expenses.
- Reconcile employee expense reports.
- Compliance:
- Stay informed about relevant financial regulations and ensure compliance.
- Assist in preparing documents for audits.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper or in a similar role.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
- Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Effective communication skills.
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Bookkeeper) a plus.
- 3+ years of experience in bookkeeping or related roles.
