Job Description:
We are in search of an experienced and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team on a part-time, hybrid basis. This role involves managing the financial records of our clients, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and providing insightful financial reports. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with QuickBooks Online and a deep understanding of bookkeeping practices. This position offers the flexibility of remote work with occasional in-office meetings and collaboration at our Old Town Erie office.
Responsibilities:
- Manage and maintain clients' financial records using QuickBooks Online, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.
- Update and maintain general ledgers for multiple clients.
- Ensure accurate and timely reconciliation of all bank accounts and financial transactions.
- Prepare and process payroll for clients, adhering to varying requirements and deadlines.
- Compile financial reports for clients, analyzing and summarizing account information and trends.
- Assist clients with budget preparation and financial forecasting.
- Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal reporting requirements and tax filings.
- Provide exceptional customer service, addressing clients' queries and concerns promptly.
- Collaborate with the accounting team to improve financial processes and systems.
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a bookkeeper, with specific experience managing clients' books.
- Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential.
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles.
- Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple clients and meet deadlines.
- Proficiency in MS Office and familiarity with other accounting software.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Eligibility to work in the United States.
Work Hours & Benefits:
- This is a part-time, flexible position requiring between 10-25 hours per week.
