ABOUT THIS ROLE:
We are seeking an outstanding, talented individual who aspires to apply their intellect, talent, drive, and creativity to be a member of our Billing team as a Team Lead, Billing. - Execute the billing process from start to finish for complex OEM accounts requiring advanced Excel knowledge for billing compilation to ensure completeness and accuracy
- Extensive knowledge of unique billing requirements for all OEM programs in order to backfill when needed
- Manage projects and organize team initiatives through delegation and monitor progress to ensure timely completion
- Preparation and maintenance of monthly supplemental billing and Digital Advertising reporting requiring advanced Excel skills
- Assist with monthly reconciliations for SOX compliance and month end close reporting in conjunction with the Billing Manager
- Perform thorough research and analysis to resolve complex issues and escalations independently, utilizing critical thinking to identify root causes and next steps to effectively implement a long-term solution
- System testing and resolution for newly developed functionality
- Lead team training for process and system update implementation
- Create, review and maintain training documentation
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
- Ability to work extra hours, specifically during the billing close cycle and for any ad hoc projects. Flexibility in working hours is a must.
- Analyze process and business workflows and develop solutions to prevent delays, backlogs, inefficiencies and minimize internal control issues. Be an active participant in developing solutions for complex problems. Demonstrate ability to identify risks.
ABOUT YOU:
- Extensive background in Finance
- Detail-oriented and able to multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment
- Ability to see trends, identify inefficiencies, and make recommendations for improvements via business process or technology enhancements
- Ability to manage through ambiguity
- Strong attention to details, achieving a high degree of accuracy
- Self-motivated and thinks independently, taking ownership of business requirements
- Ability to read and interpret contracts for billing purposes
- Expertise in the business we support
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
- Able to efficiently navigate file sharing programs, such as Google Docs and drives
- Experience with Salesforce
- Strong analytical skills
- Advanced Excel skills
- Understanding of SOX guidelines
- Working knowledge of Mac computer interface
- Advanced technical skills in Google Sheets or Excel (we are a GSuite environment);
SUMIF, SUMIFS, V-Lookup, Arrays, etc.
Conditional formatting, data validation (dropdown list, and warning error message)
Data consolidation, subtotal, pivot tables
Logical and nested functions (IF, AND, OR, functions in formulas)
