Part-Time Bookkeeping Assistant
The Bookkeeper/Accounting Assistant works with professional staff and management team members, recording, analyzing, and processing accounting data.
Specifically, Here’s What We Need You To Do For Each Of Our Clients …
● Perform general accounting functions (including accounts payable and accounts receivable)
● Other transaction recording (bank feed, credit card, merchant account and journal entries)
● Compile, analyze, and reconcile financial information to prepare month end entries and balance sheet reconciliations
● Assist in the review of incoming clients accounting and identify issues
● Participate in the development of correction plan and implementation
● Maintain files and documentation for transactions, in accordance with each client’s policy and accepted accounting practices
● Complete special projects as assigned.
Here Are The Qualifications We’re Looking For…
● The right person for this opportunity MUST be available to work 15-20 hours per week in our Commerce City office to start
● You’ll need consistent experience in QuickBooks (online and desktop) and Sage, SAP or Xero a plus
● Bring at least one year of corporate accounting experience
● Ability to jump in and work independently
● Associates degree required (bachelor’s degree preferred)
● Ability to maintain confidentiality is a MUST!

You’ll be working in a professional and friendly office environment, using the usual office equipment (computers, printers, phones, filing cabinets, and the like).
Certain basic physical demands will be placed on you, such as the ability to communicate well and to type. You may be asked to walk, stand, and use your hands for several hours at a time. And you’ll regularly have to lift things that weigh fifteen pounds (or less).
We’ll have certain expectations regarding your work hours--you’ll need to be available to work a minimum of 20 hours a week to start, and you’ll need to be available during the “core” work hours of the day (though we’ll allow for some schedule flexibility). Opportunity to move up to full-time position!
And your compensation, while competitive, will be based on your experience and the work we assign (and you take on).
