We are searching for an individual who has prior experience in bookkeeping/accounting, strong communication skills, and the ability to complete tasks accurately and timely with minimal supervision. This is a long-term role.
Responsibilities:
- Enter daily sales & other financial transactions for the store
- Reconcile all accounts as needed and perform banking functions
- Payroll processing & withholding taxes through QuickBooks Online
- Month end closing – prepaids, fixed assets, inventory adjustments, journal entries
- Assist in preparation of annual budget & provide information for tax filings
Requirements & Qualifications:
- Strong understanding of bookkeeping & accounting fundamentals
- Knowledge of financial statements, reports, and how they affect each other
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Quickbooks, and Google applications.
- Ownership of personal computer with internet access for home-based work

- Experience with small businesses is preferred

Salary: $15.00 - $17.00/hour, commensurate with experience
