Office Assistant
Duties:
- Perform general office duties such as answering phone calls, taking messages, and responding to emails
- Coordinate and schedule appointments and meetings
- Assist with proofreading and editing documents
- Maintain and organize office files and records
- Provide support in project coordination and management
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Handle basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks
- Greet and assist visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Assist with medical office or dental office administrative tasks as needed
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous experience as an office assistant or in a similar role preferred
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Knowledge of QuickBooks or other accounting software is a plus
- Familiarity with medical or dental office procedures is a plus
