Personal/Office Assistant Position Available ASAP
Part-time personal and Office Assistant needed Monday through Thursday, 10am- 3pm, working from a busy author’s home office in Belmont, MA. The ideal candidate will:
- have strong organizational skills, with the ability to multi-task and work independently.
- organize and maintain personal and professional records.
- create and maintain appointments and keep calendar.
- make travel arrangements.
- possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- have accounting and bookkeeping skills- including familiarity with Quickbooks.
- demonstrate proficiency in the use of common computer applications and software such as programs within Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Powerpoint, etc.)
- have problem-solving skills, including common sense, discretion, strong attention to detail, and the ability to juggle competing priorities and troubleshoot problems as they arise.
- complete a variety of organizing projects in house and office, including packing books. Candidate must be able to lift 25 lbs.
- attend to a variety of household tasks as needed.
Car needed for occasional running of errands.
Must like dogs.
Background check will be required.
Compensation will be commensurate with experience.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
