Job Title: Part-time Office Assistant (32-35 Hours)
Bear Hill Golf Club, located in Stoneham, MA, is currently seeking a highly organized and responsible individual to fill the role of Office Assistant. The ideal candidate will excel in clerical tasks, possess excellent communication skills, and exhibit a strong attention to detail. This position will play a crucial role in maintaining the efficiency and organization of our office operations.
Responsibilities:
· Perform various clerical tasks such as answering phones, sorting mail, and assisting with member inquiries and adjustments.
· Process weekly employee payroll and maintain accurate personnel, payroll, and time control records.
· Assist in the processing of monthly member statements and perform monthly bank reconciliations.
· Monitor accounts receivable and maintain member card file data.
· Create monthly newsletters and update the club website with pertinent information such as bylaws, rules and regulations, and membership details.
· Prepare mailings under the direction of the Club Secretary/Board of Governors.
· Provide support to committees by assisting with billings, inquiries, and printing tasks.
· Perform other administrative duties as directed.
Required Skills:
· Proficiency in MS Office Suite, including MS Word, Excel, Publisher, and Outlook.
· Experience with Clubessential Software is advantageous.
· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
· Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Salary will be commensurate with experience.
