Job Summary
The Office Administrator works with and provides support to the facility management in sourcing and merchandising grain. Our ideal candidate will have basic accounting skills and experience with various office equipment and Microsoft Office programs. You will need a high attention to detail to perform data entry, process various accounting transactions, prepare payments and complete daily reports. You will also interact with customers, both in person and over the phone.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Process grain accounting transactions.
- Interpret documents from customers (invoices, statements, checks, etc.)
- Perform accounting and clerical functions to support supervisors.
- Process timely advances, payments and invoices in grain accounting software.
- Process bills for payment.
- Identify and resolve exceptions.
- Maintain status reports, files and records, which are easily accessible.
- Handle both internal and external customer inquiries with positive customer service.
- Assist in the purchase of farm products/commodities such as - but not limited to - wheat, corn, sorghum, and/or soybeans.
- Work on special projects under direct supervision and other miscellaneous tasks as assigned
Required Education and Experience
- High school diploma, GED, or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Experience with grain accounting is preferred.
