Position Summary
The individual in this position coordinates and oversees all reception, support for professional staff and client service interactions for the office. Holds high level of authority to exercise independent judgement and decision making to ensure smooth operations of the office location. Supports all daily business activities for the office. May perform a unique function for the firm, such as a special administrative or project management role. This position reports directly to the Principal in Charge for the office location.

Requirements:Major Duties and Responsibilities
- Oversees reception functions for the office, including answering the phone, greeting clients and visitors, and assisting with community relations. Coordinates local events alongside Adams Brown Marketing
- Holds purchasing authority while maintaining office budget
- Manages and staffs office projects, directs work of project teams to achieve deadlines and successful client deliverables
- Coordinates and may deliver new employee orientations for the office; responsible for assigning software licenses and ordering necessary equipment
- Responsible for quality control of final client deliverables, including bookkeeping, payroll; property, sales or payroll tax work; 1099s, and financial reporting. Will review necessary edits with professional and paraprofessional staff.
- Manages outgoing and incoming mail, including management of direct mail projects
- Plans, schedules and coordinates meetings and other calendar items
- May perform, schedule and/or coordinate tax prep, write up work, audit support work, research and/or other special projects as assigned
- Assembles tax returns, scans documents, and enters information into electronic tracking system
- Prepare and maintain reports within a potentially wide variety of areas
- Maintains substantial client contact for effective client service
- Monitors and coordinates employee and client communications
- Plans, coordinates and schedules office special events
- Perform other duties as assigned

- Education or experience in office operations is required
- Education or experience in bookkeeping functions is beneficial
