SalaryISLAND TRANSPORTATION (www.islandtrans.com) is the premier bulk Transporter in the Tri-State Area with Terminal operations in NY, NJ & CT.
We're currently seeking a qualified individual to join our Corporate Accounting Team located at 299 Edison Ave, West Babylon, NY to support the Management Team in the daily administration & reporting of the back office.
The position will assist in all HR & Accounting functions; including but not limited to Accounts Receivable, Billing, Customer Service, Accounts Payable and weekly Payroll administration
- Daily Billing of high volume customer invoices & reconciliation of payments
- Be responsible for Customer accounts and payment of invoices through our accounts receivable software
- Support Weekly Payroll Processing & Administration of Monthly HR (benefits enrollment, FLMA, etc.)
Qualifications Include:
- Ability to work effectively across all levels of an organization
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
