We're looking for a team member to join as a lead office administrator and receptionist for a private practice in Manhasset who is responsible for greeting and directing patients, answering phone calls, processing payments and processing paperwork.
The ideal candidate is friendly, responsible and detail-oriented.
Monday Tuesday Wednesday and Fridays 8:45am-4:45pm. Thursday 10am-6pm
Hours: 40 hours/week
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to patients.
- Answer and direct incoming calls to appropriate staff members.
- Work closely with physicians
- Handle inquiries regarding appointments and general practice procedures.
- Greet and interact with patients in a courteous, professional manner.
- Write information into the scheduling software.
- Manage patient information in the online database.
- Manage insurance companies' questions, policies, and claims.
- Schedule patients' appointments.
- Process billing information.
- Answer emails in a courteous and informative fashion.
Medical Assistant Certification is a plus

Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour
