The Children's Dyslexia Center of New York City is a non-profit tutoring program free for children with dyslexia. We are looking for a highly motivated Administrative Assistant to join our team who will join us Monday-Thursday 1:00p-7:00pm.
* Provide compassionate assistance to all parents, students and staff
* Answer phone/e-mail inquiries regarding program
* Maintain files and process paperwork and coordinate office activities
* Order office supplies and other business needs
Qualifications- Minimum HS diploma or equivalent , strong organizational and planning skills. Should be a team player with excellent communication skills. Demonstrated ability to solve problems and manage time effectively. Familiarity with office management procedures and computer skills ( Word, Excel, Outlook etc.)
Receptionist and social media experience and Spanish strongly preferred.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
Expected hours: 24 per week
