Sentinel Technologies is seeking a Senior Network Administrator for one of its strategic healthcare partners. You will be responsible for overseeing and supporting day-to-day networking in this fast-paced high profile environment. You are responsible for assessing and building out the network as deemed most appropriate for the enterprise while supporting and maintaining its availability and security. This is a direct hire onsite opportunity located in Chicago, IL.
Qualifications:
- Experience and proficiency with site to site VPN setup, management and support.
- Expert level knowledge and experience with Network routers, switches and firewalls (Nexxus, Checkpoint, Cisco).
- Experience establishing and maintaining network and system security.
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with all levels within an organization.
- Availability to support 1 week on call a month.
- Experience troubleshooting and communicating to non-tech users.
- Ability to fulfill requirements needed to obtain a role in a healthcare environment.
- The candidate must have a car, as this role does require occasional onsite support of local satellite facilities.
- A valid driver’s license and proof of vehicle insurance will be required.
- Legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
- Must demonstrate a “can-do” attitude.
