Medical Receptionist

Job Description

We are a rapidly growing, fast paced, privately owned cardiology office, looking to add another front desk representative to our awesome team as soon as possible.

We are seeking a full-time Medical Receptionist

Hours for this position are Monday-Friday (8:00 - 5:00), no weekends, no evenings.

*******Our office will be relocating to Barrington In the Fall of 2024 as we have outgrown our current Crystal Lake office**********

Responsibilities

• Greeting patients
• Answering phone calls
• Checking in and out patients
• Scheduling appointments.
• Returning calls to patients and answering messages
• Giving instructions to patients
• Routing Faxes
• Insurance Verification
• ·Collect copay's and balances
• Entering patient Information/scanning patient documents

Qualifications:

• Must be proficient in EMR
• Excellent customer service skills
• Must be a team player, fast learner, and dependable.
• Must have at least 1-year medical office experience
• Knowledge of e- Clinical works is preferred.
• Absolutely must be able to multi task and perform with accuracy while processing a high volume of provider tasks
• MUST have knowledge of insurances and insurance requirements- referrals etc.
