Requirements:
High School diploma or GED
Strong customer service and communication skills
Able to work as a team player
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Great time management and ability to prioritize tasks
Ability to learn online medical appointment scheduling system
Good command of English, both oral and written
Job duties:
Maintain flow of patient charts and support other positions in the office
Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
Assemble, sort and file medical patient charts alphabetically
Greet patients at check in and check out (2 days per week)
Collect demographic medical history and insurance information (2 days per week)
Check out patients, collect payments and perform close out (2 days per week)
Open, sort and distribute mail
Distribute and manage incoming faxes
