Medical Receptionist

This is a part-time, Monday through Thursday position. We will hire two employees to fill this role. We are hiring for one morning receptionist/MA and one afternoon position. Approximately 6 hours per shift, 4 days per week. Off on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. No major holidays. No on-call. No weekends. Starting pay is $15 per hour with pay increase, depending on performance, following the initial 90-day evaluation period. Potential for quarterly bonuses, also depending on performance. We need someone dependable with a strong attendance history. Understanding the ins and outs of mental health is vital and above all else, kindness matters.

DUTIES:

- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments
- Verify insurance information and collect co-pays
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers
- Manage medical office supplies and inventory

- Collect vital sign measurements for patients upon check-in

REQUIREMENTS:

- Proven experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role
- Knowledge of medical office procedures and terminology
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality
- Proficient in using office equipment and phone systems

- Integrity and time management skills
