Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Medical Receptionist to join our team. As a Medical Receptionist, you will play a crucial role in providing administrative support to our medical office. Your primary responsibilities will include managing phone systems, scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, and providing exceptional customer service to patients.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer phone calls and direct them to the appropriate staff members
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the appointment calendar
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic medical record systems (e.g., Dentrix, eClinicalWorks)
- Assist with medical administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to specialists and follow up on patient appointments
- Provide general administrative support to the medical office staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma required
- Previous experience working in a medical office or similar administrative role is preferred
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple phone lines
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Familiarity with electronic medical record systems (e.g., Dentrix, eClinicalWorks) is preferred
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information
- Strong customer service skills and ability to handle patient inquiries with empathy and professionalism
Note: This is a paid position.

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour
