Medical Receptionist

Established OB/GYN practice seeks full time Medical Receptionist to join our professional team.
In this role you will be responsible for:

· Greeting patients and visitors

· Answering and directing phone calls appropriately and in a friendly manner

· Obtaining accurate and updated patient information

· Scheduling and confirming appointments

· Collecting co-pays and outstanding balances

· Assisting patients with prescriptions and referrals to other providers

· Managing incoming faxes, and directing them to appropriate personnel

The ideal candidate will have the following:

• Ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, staff members and providers
• Strong computer skills; previous experience with Athena a plus

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Healthcare setting:

• Private practice

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• No weekends

Ability to Relocate:

• Paramus, NJ 07652: Relocate before starting work (Required)
