Responsibilities
- Provide superb customer service to every patient, whether in person, over the phone, or via email
- Operate optical diagnostic equipment, including lensometers and retinal cameras
- Ability to multitask while maintaining close attention to detail
- Clean and sterilize equipment as necessary
-Schedule appointments
-Verify insurances
-Check patients in and out
-Collect co-pays
Requirements and Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED certificate
- Prior experience in an optometry environment (preferred)
- Working knowledge of optical diagnostic equipment (preferred)
- Friendly demeanor and professional appearance
