Medical Receptionist/Exam Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide superb customer service to every patient, whether in person, over the phone, or via email

• Operate optical diagnostic equipment, including lensometers and retinal cameras

• Ability to multitask while maintaining close attention to detail

• Clean and sterilize equipment as necessary

-Schedule appointments

-Verify insurances

-Check patients in and out

-Collect co-pays

Requirements and Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED certificate

• Prior experience in an optometry environment (preferred)

• Working knowledge of optical diagnostic equipment (preferred)

• Friendly demeanor and professional appearance

Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
