Medical Receptionist/ Assistant BILINGUAL SPANISH
Duties:
- Greet and check-in patients in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls and schedule appointments using the ER phone system
- Verify patient insurance information and collect co-pays or payments
- Maintain patient records and update necessary information
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, faxing, and scanning documents
- Coordinate referrals to other healthcare providers as needed
- Ensure the waiting area is clean and organized- Able to fluently communicate / translate for patient & Provider
- Translation ( Spanish Speaking ) for MD
- Triage patients , vitals
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Previous experience as a Medical Receptionist or in a similar role preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficient in using phone systems, computers, and electronic medical record systems
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
