Medical Biller

Medical Biller Overview:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Medical Biller to join our team. We are a growing Mental/Behavioral Health Outpatient office. As a Medical Biller, you will be responsible for accurately billing medical procedures and services. Your role is crucial in ensuring that healthcare providers receive proper reimbursement for their services. If you have a strong understanding of medical billing processes and coding systems, we encourage you to apply.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent; certification in medical billing is preferred

- Experience as a Medical Biller or in a similar role

- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, coding systems (ICD-10, CPT), and insurance guidelines

- Proficient in using medical billing software and electronic health record systems

- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal

- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
