Head ofInternational Logistics and Pricing Analyst
UOVO, the premier storage and services provider for art, fashion, and cultural artifacts, seeks a seasoned Head of International Logistics & Pricing Analyst to join our dynamic and growing team. Reporting to the SVP of Account Management, this role will be responsible for growing and refining UOVO’s international freight forwarding. They will provide strategic and tactical oversite to a team of Account Managers who work on international shipping requests. This will include research and implementation of rates for international shipping and other company-wide service offerings that intersect with shipping.
The Head of International Logistics & Pricing Analyst will be an outside-the-box strategic thinker, have a strong executive presence, and be an internal champion for innovation and change. Key to a candidate’s success is the ability to communicate effectively, mentor teams, and work across various departments to ensure the highest level of efficiency and client engagement.. A qualified candidate must have experience with international freight forwarding and have worked in an operating business, along with experience in market research and market pricing.
Core Responsibilities
- Work in partnership with a team of Account Managers who support international shipping services at UOVO, establishing best practices and optimizing internal efficiencies through automation in support of growing this vertical of business.
- Ensure adherence to policies and procedures as they pertain to International Shipping - making sure UOVO’s database and reporting are up to date and accurate for optimal recommendations for pricing structures and market analysis
- Create, monitor, and report KPI’s related to International Shipping and supplementary services; making recommendations as to how to maximize our offering as it pertains to booking rates and revenue.
- Develop and maintain pricing databases, dashboards and regular reporting to track competitor pricing and market positioning in support of growing International shipping and supplementary services across the company
- Working across regions and departments to identify customer segments and their respective revenue contributions, recommending strategies to maximize client reach as it relates to both International Shipping and complementary services.
- Collaborate with the Estimates & Account Management teams to ensure competitive pricing and best practice estimating in support of driving booking rates and increased service revenue; using data to make recommendations and ensure adoption of accepted changes.
- Foster the growth of clients and prospects to encourage the retention, growth and referrals of existing clients; working cross functionally to identify growth opportunities.
- Uphold the highest level of service both internally and externally.
- Support SVP of Account Management in targeted working groups across departments geared towards growth and alignment.

Qualifications & Skills
- Superior leadership skills, with a focus on employee coaching and development
- Proven ability to analyze data, create meaningful reporting and make strategic recommendations
- Competence in leading and driving initiatives to completion
- Analytical skill sets to compare sales trends and determine market data
- Poise in a fast-paced business environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proactive and solution oriented with the ability to think creatively
- Experience within the arts sector is valued but not required
