- Oversee entirety of NMM NorCal billing process to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and in a timely manner
- Communicate with clients on a regular basis to answer all questions, inquiries and messages within 1 business day, and create monthly reports to share with clients
- Perform posting charges, completion of claims to payers, process claims, resolve denial instances, and conduct audits
- Achieve maximum reimbursement for services provided following organization guidelines
- Complete Medicare and Medi-Cal reviews
- Assist proactive processes and software setup to streamline billing processes
- Contribute to a positive team environment with a culture of open communication and teamwork
- High School Diploma/GED required
- At least 2 years of billing experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10/CPT codes, deductibles, co-insurance, co-pays, and ability to interpret EOBs
- Strong attention to detail and ability to uphold accuracy while managing multiple tasks
- Basic computer skills; Data entry and Microsoft Excel, Google Drive
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Cantonese
- Medical coding knowledge/experience
- Strong ability to work independently, collaborate with others, problem solve, and multitask
- Medicare/Medi-Cal experience
- Proficient in Tebra software

- The total compensation target pay range for this role is $22 - $28 per hour. This salary expectation reflects our national target range for this role.
