Medical Biller/coder/Revenue Cycle Management expert for a Private Practice Gastroenterology Group in Rancho Cucamonga/San Bernardino/Riverside, CA. Starting pay $30/hr with quarterly bonus incentive.

Premier Gastroenterology Institute (PGI) is looking to higher a full-time in-house Medical Biller and Coder. This role will require experience. The biller/coder will be responsible for all aspects of revenue cycle management (RCM). This includes, accurate revenue management throughout the cycle by identifying and improving deficiencies. Beyond billing/coding, it is expected that the full spectrum of RCM will be performed:

• Patient scheduling
• Registration
• Insurance coverage verification
• Eligibility checks
• Coding
• Claims denials management
• Payment posting
• Collections
• Creating, submitting, appealing, and following up with insurance claims for reimbursement purposes.

The Medical Biller is expected to manage billing insurance and processing payments. Prepare and submit claims for medical procedures and services provided to insurance companies, communicate with patients about outstanding balances, and collect payments. Must have good attention to detail and ensure that patient medical information is accurate and up to date. Must be able to analyze medical data and use sound judgment when needed. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary while working with patients, clients, collection agencies, and insurance companies.

Other daily responsibilities often include things like monitoring accounts, working with patients to develop payment arrangements, and pursuing delinquent accounts. An in-depth understanding of billing software, electronic medical records, and medical codes are paramount.

Priority will be given to those that are seasoned with certification, training and experience in tall of the above.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $30.00 - $31.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
