Process and submit medical claims to insurance companies accurately and efficiently
Follow up on unpaid claims and resolve any billing issues
Verify patient insurance eligibility and benefits
Collect and post patient payments, including co-pays and deductibles
Maintain accurate billing records and generate reports as needed
Communicate effectively with patients, insurance companies, and healthcare providers
Adhere to all billing compliance guidelines and HIPAA regulations
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Experience:
1-4 years
Qualifications:
Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical billing, preferably in a cardiology or similar specialty setting
Knowledge of medical terminology, ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding
Familiarity with insurance claim forms (CMS-1500) and billing procedures
Excellent attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
knowledge with Tri-Med healthcare systems a plus.
