Material Planner Ii

Honeybee Robotics is looking for a Material Planner II who will be responsible for identifying and acquiring program-specific materials, parts, and services and ensuring material availability for on-time testing and production. The Material Planner II will work closely with program management, engineering, buyers, inventory, and suppliers to develop and execute effective supply strategies that align with technical, schedule, and business needs.
Responsibilities:

• Analyze contractual and engineering documents to develop lists of materials, parts, and services required for a program.
• Identify materials to be purchased, to be made, or on hand.
• Create procurement schedules. Closely work with buyers to ensure correct purchase orders are issued and monitor purchases to delivery.
• Track and report on actual and forecasted budgets.
• Identify and track program schedule risk and mitigation plans with Program Management, Operations, and Engineering.
• Enter and maintain data in IFS ERP system.
• Monitor design configuration changes and update the master materials list, schedules, and budgets as needed.
• Respond quickly when vendors cannot deliver materials as promised. Escalate the issue to Program Management, Operations, and Engineering and ensure an alternative plan is established.
• Communicate accurate, timely data to stakeholders. Have data and status readily available and prepare and present reports.

Required Qualifications:

• Two or more years of planning experience with multi-level BOMs and complex assemblies in an Aerospace or manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of engineering development processes and manufacturing process flows for PCBA assembly, machining, and outside processing.
• Experience using an ERP system, with a strong preference for IFS.
• Demonstrated proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Proficient at tracking many moving pieces with excellent organizational skills
• Exhibit the ability to seek assistance and collaborate in a calm, influential manner while maintaining a keen awareness of deadlines and obstacles.

$38 - $48 an hour
Pay is determined by the applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, internal equity, and alignment with local market data.
