POSITION SUMMARY
Determine required materials to support production requirements and schedules. Determine material specifications and maintain inventory.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Determine required materials to support production requirements.
- Ensure raw material meet production specifications, quality standards and are cost-efficient.
- Requisition and maintain proper inventories of materials necessary to meet production demands and schedules.
- Prepare raw material cost estimates to measure against productions sales orders for approval of material purchases.
- Work with cross-functional teams to determine production commitments, goals, timelines, supplier payments, etc.
- Track and report on production volume and monitor customer demand patterns and purchasing trends.
- Compile information and/or reports on production rates, material inventory, material usage.
- Work with buyers for scheduling and supply and delivery of materials and products.
- Communicate inventory issues, schedule changes and/or material cancellations.
- Demonstrates ability to appear for work on time, follow directions from a supervisor, interact well with co-workers, understand and follow work rules and procedures, comply with company policies and procedures, goals and objectives, and accepts constructive feedback.
- Other duties as assigned, requested or needed.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or General Education Development (GED).
- Minimum 2 years related experience, including ERP/MRP systems or equivalent of education and experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong and effective communication skills.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, and supply chain processes.
- High level of attention to detail and thorough completion of work tasks.
- Knowledge of material processes preferred.
- Ability to actively listen to instructions and possess effective time management skills.
- Ability understand and follow standard operating and safety procedures.
- Ability to prioritize and handle workflow.
- Read and comprehend verbal and written instructions.

Pay Rate: The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and length of experience within the job, type, and length of experience with the industry, education, geographic location, etc.
