Major Position Responsibilities include:
- Develops marketing plan and marketing goals based on hospital strategic plan.
- Oversees development of marketing, communication and promotional materials based on marketing plan needs, such as brochures, newsletters, slide shows, displays, advertising, direct mailings and hospital website.
- Develops and maintains good working relations with news media to promote hospital events and services.
- Maintains and promotes communication of hospital activities to employees.
- Coordinates or works closely with Population Health and Outreach Coordinator to help support hospital activities and events.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree with emphasis in marketing/journalism/communication strongly preferred.
- 3 - 5 years of journalism, media or marketing experience required, preferably in healthcare.
- Able to speak, read, write and understand the English language.
- Excellent computer skills required with knowledge of Microsoft Office, Photoshop and InDesign.
