We are looking for an outstanding individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment to join our Tissue Services team as a Per Diem Tissue Coordinator. The preferred candidate would have a strong anatomy background with the ability to effectively communicate.
Required to work at least 8 shifts per month.
Shifts are 12 hours (1900 – 0700) to facilitate the recovery of Tissues.
Job Responsibilities:
- Help facilitate the recovery of bones, tendons, and other transplantable tissues.
- Prepping recovery site for surgical procedure.
- Surgical recovery of transplantable grafts.
- Sterile packaging of tissues.
- Assist with paperwork.
Requirements:
- Experience as a Surgical Tech, LPN, EMT, Nursing, or other health science professional and/or a bachelor’s degree with a focus on Human Anatomy, is preferred.
- Knowledge of aseptic techniques is preferred.
- Certified Tissue Banking Specialist Certification is a plus.
- Ability to maintain a valid driver’s license and auto insurance is required.
