Logistics Specialist
Job Summary:
Provides administrative support to the eB2B Team in the coordination, planning, execution, and monitoring of its various logistics operations.
Responsibilities:
* Coordinates closely with carriers and/or freight brokers in the timely pickup and delivery of freight.
* Serves as a point of contact for Partner Brands on shipment tracking and updates.
* Provides after hours support on nights and weekends for shipment tracking and updates when required based on shipping schedules.
* Assists in creating Bill of Lading (BOL), packing slips, and other shipping documents as needed.
* Ensures accurate entry of all orders into the freight tracker sheets and manages the carrier information database.
* Reviews all carrier invoices for accuracy, enters them in the freight tracker sheet, and submits them to Partner Brands or eB2B Accounting.
* Assists CSO in the SOW process and Scorecard preparations.
* Responsible for investigating and resolving freight exceptions such as overages, shortages, damages, and refused products, and filing claims with carriers as necessary.
Requirements:
Knowledge: At least 2 years of logistics experience. Applicants must be familiar with transportation modes and overseeing shipment processes as well as knowledge of managing paper and electronic files.
IT skills: Applicants must possess exceptional IT skills, particularly Microsoft Excel.
Communication and Interpersonal skills: Applicants must have excellent skills to communicate and relate with others as the job involves customer service.
Organizational skills: Applicants must have planning and multi-tasking skills to effectively prioritize and handle multiple assignments.
