Role Overview:

As a Data Scientist, your primary mission will be to harness machine learning and advanced data analytics to enhance the products we're crafting for beverage distributors. Your insights and models will directly influence the optimization of sales processes, making a tangible impact on the industry. You'll be collaborating closely with our product and engineering teams, diving deep into data to uncover patterns, predict trends, and devise data-driven strategies that align with our product development goals.

Key Responsibilities:

● Analyze vast datasets from business operations to identify opportunities for optimization in sales and other processes through machine learning and data analytics.

● Design and implement predictive models and algorithms, focusing on time series analysis to improve product outcomes.

● Work within our AWS-based data pipeline, leveraging services like S3 and AWS Glue, and utilizing Spark and Python for data processing and analysis.

● Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate data-driven insights into product development and business strategies, ensuring alignment with company goals.

● Develop and maintain robust data analysis frameworks, processes, and tools to monitor the performance of data models and ensure data integrity.

● Effectively communicate complex data findings and recommendations to stakeholders, enabling informed decision-making and strategic planning.

Qualifications:

● Advanced degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Informatics, Information Systems, or a related quantitative field.

● Demonstrated experience in data science, with a strong portfolio showcasing your ability to apply machine learning and analytics in a business context.

● Proficiency in data science tools and languages, especially Python, Spark, and SQL, with a strong understanding of AWS services relevant to data processing and analysis.

● Expertise in statistical analysis, predictive modeling, and machine learning algorithms, particularly those relevant to time series data and sales optimization.

● Excellent communication skills, with the ability to translate complex statistical concepts and data insights into clear, actionable strategies for non-expert audiences.
